Where do you want to spend the rest of eternity? Right now, the door is open for you to come with God’s people to the new creation. Amazingly, entry is free, because Jesus, the king of the new creation, has already died to purchase your citizenship. His terms are simply that you repent and believe the good news. Repent. You haven’t really loved God as you were created to do and that means you’re not really a good person. Tell God you’re sorry about that. Stop pretending that you’re the king of your life and recognise that Jesus is your rightful ruler. Believe the good news. Thank God for forgiving you for your sins through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Live each day thanking God for his rescue and trusting God’s promises to you for the future new creation. God will be glorified in you, you can’t change that. You’re living in his world, you’re a part of his plan to bring glory to himself. But it’s up to you how you do that – in hell or in the new creation. That choice is yours today. Just repent and believe the good news you've just read about. It's as simple as that.
